A Walk Down Walt Disney World’s Main Street U.S.A. in Autumn #WaltDisneyWorld

I can happily write that my family has visited Magic Kingdom enough times that we don’t feel compelled to race through the park like we used to, trying to accomplish as much as we can in one day. Sometimes, a stroll down Main Street U.S.A. is all that it takes to make us happy. Besides, we’re at the happiest place on earth, right?

Last October, we did just that: moseyed down the main drag of Magic Kingdom and took photos of the stunning decorations that seemed to be on everything that would stand still. My kind of decorating! This year’s decorations are sure to be just as stunning and looking at these ones is making me excited to plan this year’s October trip.

Let’s start at the beginning. Before we even hit the the bag check area, we couldn’t help but notice that Magic Kingdom was dressed in its finest autumn garb from the train station exterior.

Once you head under one of the tunnels and into the park itself, a grand display of autumn will greet you with jack-o-lantern/scarecrow displays. This one of a marching band leader is one of my faves.

Here’s another fun shot of a Main Street U.S.A. marching band drummer. Looks like this poor guy put a little too much into his performance.

A fun Disney Diva!

There’s nothin’ cuter than a Chef Scarecrow!

Here’s the chef’s counterpart. Mmm, candy apples.

Take your time and mosey. Walt Disney World puts so much detail into its  holiday displays that there’s always something new to spy every time we walk up and down Main Street.

I’m a huge fan of the Main Street clocks, and I love this photo. Did you notice the American flag in its reflection?

Mickey Jack-o-lanterns and balloons = warm, fuzzy feelings for my family.

Cinderella Castle on a picturesque day, and a Mickey Halloween display to enhance the image.

The Halloween decorations don’t end on Main Street, happily. You’ll find subtle and not-so-subtle hints throughout the entire park. Night time on Main Street is just as pretty. The Mickey Jack-o-lanterns are all lit up, as are the Main Street buildings and shops.

So, there you have it. October is our favorite time to visit in autumn, and I can’t wait to return this October.

Happy travels!

Spread the love
