The Strip District in Pittsburgh: Saturday Farmer’s Market

Every Saturday in The Strip District in Pittsburgh, farmer’s bring their fresh fruit and veg to sell open air market style. Last Saturday, my family and I braved the early morning snow (yep, it snowed in late April in Pittsburgh!) and I came across these beauties. I don’t know what it is about colored peppers but I have to take pictures of them. A ton of pictures, as a matter of fact.

Cooking and baking with them is also a joy as they seem to inspire me to be healthier. And who can resist plating an entree when you have inspiration such as these?
