Part nature immersion, part off the beaten path, each is mainly a luxury you’ll want to test drive at least once. From pets to pricing, Here are 5 things to know about the geodomes in Hocking Hills and what you can expect when you book your stay.

In a nutshell, it’s an igloo-style type of lodging without making it out of snow. Compliments of using triangular facets to create a dome, it’s super strong to protect against harsh elements. Also, add in the fact that it’s climate controlled and insulated and it’s a no-brainer for gorgeous views any time of year.

In the bedroom area, of The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls geodomes you’ll find clear panels to give a feeling of sleeping under the stars and tree canopy in a king bed. Also, there’s a comfy couch in case you want to relax. If you want some exercise, the property is surrounded on three sides by Hocking Hills State Park.

The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls Geodomes have 706 square feet of inside space and, at peak, a 14 foot ceiling so you won’t feel squished.

What Amenities Do the Geodomes Have?

Several, and really good. First, there’s a kitchenette complete with small fridge and microwave. Taking advantage of both, you can absolutely bring light meals and snacks to heat up if you like. Each offers a coffee pot and small dining table as well.

And while we’re talking rustic meets refined, let’s talk about the full bathroom. There’s a toilet, sink, and glass-enclosed shower that I’d love to test drive. There are also two robes to use in case you don’t want to bring your own.

What you won’t find is a television. Personally, with that kind of view, I’d be fine without the distraction. But to keep you in the loop, the property has upgraded to broadband wifi for its guests.

Dining Options at The Inn & Spa

The property has one lovely one, Kindred Spirits Tavern and Restaurant. From personal experience, I’ve never had anything but excellent meals there. Made from a few Nineteenth Century cabins that were on property the rustic, but still upscale, dining is a must.

Are Pets Allowed?

The Geodomes are pet free, but The Inn & Spa does have three pet-friendly cottages. Additionally, look into the Strong Wolf Cabin for pet options.

How Much Does it Cost Per Night?

Prices start at $349 per night which includes complimentary breakfast for up to two people. You’ll also have free parking and an ideal location in the heart of Hocking Hills. Pricing will depend on a couple of things including time of year, day of the week, and holidays.
