Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas is a fantastic choice for all of those people who are interested in geology. There is some truly incredible geology here for you to experience, as well as ancient thermal springs, and breathtaking views.

With so much to see and do here, you’re in for a real treat if you find yourself heading down this way. For those people who absolutely love to hike, there are some fantastic forested hikes that you can take part in, and abundant creeks that you can get lost in (not literally!)

This National Park is located in South Africa and offers you the chance to see the ‘big five’. If you aren’t sure what these are, the lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and buffalo. These are amazing to see in their natural habitat, you may also see smaller animals like giraffes and hippos. Be sure to take your camera as this is something you will want to capture.

The Galapagos Islands are mostly untouched by human feet and you can only get to it via a seaplane from Ecuador. It is thought to be a laboratory of evolution as so many diverse ecosystems can thrive here. It is amazing what can happen when there is no input from humans. However, there are some tours every so often where you can go and see this amazing place, including the wildlife. There are all sorts of things to see, including turtles and iguanas. If you love nature and what it has to offer then this should certainly be on your must-see list of destinations.

We do hope you found this article helpful and it gave you some ideas on where to go for your next vacation. There are many national parks around the world, it is all about seeing the best ones.
