The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by Advent Health is a celebration of holiday magic, creativity, and a love of all things Disney. With 19 themed trees this year, interactive MagicBand+ features, and a free prize upon completion, it offers a uniquely-Disney way to celebrate the season without spending a dime on admission. Whether visiting for an evening or spending a full day exploring Disney Springs, the Christmas Tree Stroll is a must-see experience that brings the wonder of the holidays to life for guests of all ages. Here’s the scoop on why it’s a must-do.

A Holiday Tradition at Disney Springs
Each holiday season, Disney Springs transforms into a winter wonderland filled with lights, music, and festive cheer. At the heart of this celebration is the beloved Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, a free holiday activity that has become a must-do for visitors and locals alike. This enchanting experience invites guests to explore the open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment district while discovering beautifully themed Christmas trees inspired by Disney films, characters, and attractions.

A Forest of Disney Magic
The Christmas Tree Stroll features 19 elaborately decorated trees, each uniquely themed to a different Disney story or franchise. Past and present displays have included trees inspired by Encanto, The Lion King, Frozen, Moana, Coco, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Star Wars. Every tree is a work of art, adorned with ornaments, ribbons, and details that capture the essence of its theme.
The trees are spread throughout Disney Springs, encouraging you to wander through the various areas—The Landing, Town Center, Marketplace, and West Side—while enjoying the festive atmosphere. The stroll is designed to be both a visual delight and a fun scavenger hunt, perfect for families, couples, and Disney fans of all ages.

Interactive Magic with MagicBand+
Adding a touch of Disney innovation, MagicBand+ enhances the Christmas Tree Stroll with interactive elements. Some of the trees respond to the MagicBand+ when guests approach, lighting up or playing special effects that bring the decorations to life. This year, there are four MagicBand+ Christmas trees to check out:
- Annual Passholder
- Haunted Mansion
- Star Wars
- Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
The gentle vibrations and colorful lights on the MagicBand+ create a sense of connection between guests and the holiday magic around them, making the experience even more immersive. Don’t worry if you don’t have one with you when you visit, though: I left my MagicBand at the resort and still had an amazing experience.

Free Fun for Everyone
One of the most appealing aspects of the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is that it’s completely free—no park ticket or reservation required. Guests can pick up a stroll map at select locations around Disney Springs in participating retail shops. The map includes clues and locations for each tree, turning the stroll into a festive scavenger hunt. This year, maps may be picked up at:
- City Works Eatery & Pour House
- Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers
- Havaianas
- House of Blues
- The LEGO Store
- The Polite Pig
As guests find each tree, they can mark it on their map via a cute sticker. Once all trees have been located, the completed map can be returned to those same shops that are passing out the maps for a special holiday prize, often a commemorative keepsake or small Disney-themed gift.

A Must-Do Holiday Experience
The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is more than just a display—it’s an experience that captures the spirit of the holidays in true Disney fashion. The combination of creativity, interactivity, and accessibility makes it one of the most popular seasonal activities at Walt Disney World.
I love the fact that I can enjoy the stroll at my own pace, stopping for holiday treats, live entertainment, or shopping along the way. The entire area is decked out with twinkling lights, festive music, and seasonal décor, creating a joyful atmosphere that’s perfect for making memories.
If you want a less-crowded experience, go midweek at sunset. If you’re unable to make it then, you’ll still have a fun experience!
