Laurel Highlands Pour Tour 3.0 – A “Spirit”ual Take on Everything You Need to Know

Only last week, the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour 3.0 was released and, much to my and my husband’s delight, it’s a bigger better experience. With more breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cideries than in the previous pour tour lists, this one has something for everyone, including this picky drinker. Here’s the scoop on the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour 3.0 including locations, map, and prizes.

The Laurel Highlands Pour Tour is a super fun way to experience the local micro and craft liquor spots in the area. Sure, the Laurel Highlands is known for its gorgeous outdoor havens, Seven Springs Ski Resort, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, but to really get the feel of a spot I highly recommend eating and drinking where the locals do.

On the tour there are plenty of drinks to choose from: wines, ciders, moonshine, meads and craft brews. For this version, there are officially 50 properties with 57 stops to visit (including the Go Laurel Highlands visitors center) where you can pick up a paper-style passport (or request a Pour Tour book online) and sticker to show you’ve been.

The 3.0 version of the Pour Tour officially kicked off on January 12, 2023, so Mr. Locke and I hopped in the car and drove to check it out for a day and night. What we discovered is a passion for the craft and a “spirit”ual take on the Laurel Highlands. Yeah, I’m not apologizing for that one.

It goes without saying or writing that by giving you the scoop on the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour, I’m asking you to drink responsibly, don’t ever drink and drive, and call a taxi service, Uber, or Lyft when you’ve been drinking. The folks at Go Laurel Highlands strongly encourage you to do the same, too.

When Mr. Locke and I cover any pour tour and aren’t being escorted and driven around to each location, I’m always designated driver fro him so he doesn’t have to worry about getting safely to our next location and home for the night.
