Looking for rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that everyone in your travel party can enjoy? Here’s a list of our favorites that everyone can ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – and what’s coming to help you plan your next Disney vacation. From easy rides to shows, here are rides everyone can ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
When it comes to rides at DHS, there’s only one choice – for now. Disney has announced Toy Story Land (opening summer 2018) which should up the ride game, but until then, there’s only a couple, literally. So, I’m adding in attractions that don’t necessarily move. I know, all WDW features are called attractions, but you get it.

Table of Contents
Toy Story Mania
Until the new, themed areas of DHS are complete, Toy Story Mania in Pixar Place is THE Fastpass+ selection to score. The shooting-style ride spins and whirls you around as you shoot targets on a screen. The only issue with this one is the fact that your wrist and hand will be hurting if you give it all you’ve got. There’s no height or age requirement for this ride.

Muppet*Vision 3D
Technically a show featuring both 3D effects and live action Muppets, this is one of my family’s favorite places to relax at DHS. The show itself is 15 minutes but there’s a 12-minute pre-show to keep the kiddos entertained.

Star Wars Launch Bay & Launch Bay Theater
If you love the movies, this 10-minute film, in Animation Courtyard, about the creation of Star Wars will be right up your galaxy. Highlights include exclusive interviews from directors and cast. Afterwards, head into Star Wars Launch Bay and check out the art galleries filled with Star Wars objects. You can also queue up to meet a Star Wars Character as well.
Star Wars: Path of the Jedi
Another 10-minute film this one retells the Star Wars saga and gives insight into what’s to come. You’ll need to head to Echo Lake to catch it.
Voyage of The Little Mermaid
A live action show featuring Ariel and her gang, this 17-minute show is perfect for Disney movie lovers. Popular sings from the movie are sung and everyone’s encouraged to sing along. It’s also indoors so you’ll get a respite from the hot, humid Florida climate.

Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is one of those Disney shows that has a special place in my heart. Melding pyrotechnics, water projection, and laser, famous Disney characters help Mickey Mouse escape from his nightmarish dreams. Fantasmic! is shown once each night and FastPass+ is offered.

What’s Coming?
WDW recently announced more than a dozen new additions to its WDW parks – here’s the one’s we know so far for Hollywood Studios:
Mickey’s Runaway Railway

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a major overhaul (we already knew that) but the announcement of Mickey’s Runaway Railway has classic Mickey lovers in a spin. Taking the place of The Great Movie Ride, riders will be immersed in a Mickey Mouse/Minnie Mouse cartoon short.
Toy Story Land is expected to open in the summer 2018, and we’re getting happy details a little at time. What we do know is there will be at least two family-friendly rides, Sinky Dog Dash and Swirling Saucers.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is probably the most-waited for in regards to new DHS features. Two AT-AT walkers and the ability to pilot the cockpit of the Millenium Falcon are only two of the major draws this new land will provide. You’ll have to wait a couple of years for Satr Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, though: it’s not slated to open until “sometime in 2019”.
