Not-So-Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at Walt Disney World

If you can’t score a Thanksgiving Day dining reservation in the parks or resorts, give Disney Springs a shot. Many of its restaurants will be offering special meals on Thanksgiving Day, but our favorite any time of year is Earl of Sandwich. It’s Holiday Turkey sandwich is exactly what you’d expect: turkey, cornbread Stuffing, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce. It automatically comes with mayo, too, but you can ask to have it omitted.

Tips for Getting a Thanksgiving Reservation at Walt Disney World Restaurants

The early bird catches the worm when it comes to Disney dining. This phrase has never rung truer during Thanksgiving and peak seasons, too. Head to the official WDW website and look for dining reservations beginning at 180 days out. You’ll need a credit card to hold the reservation, too.

If you decide to bail on the reservation and don’t show, you’ll be charged a $10 per person no-show fee. You’ve got 24 hours prior to cancel, so if you’ve changed your plans, make sure to cancel with plenty of notice. You’ll also be doing visitors looking for last-minute reservations a solid, too.
