When it comes to rides at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, there are only a couple of choices. So, to give you more options, I’m adding in attractions that don’t necessarily move. I know, all WDW features are called attractions, but you get it.
Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Mania
Toy Story Mania in Toy Story Land used to be THE Fastpass+ selection to score (remember Fastpasses? Sigh.) Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge pop into the number one place to visit in the park, Toy Story Mania has taken a back seat – but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun!
The shooting-style ride spins and whirls you around as you shoot targets on a 3-D screen. The only issue with this one is the fact that your wrist and hand will be hurting if you give it all you’ve got.
There’s no height or age requirement for this ride.
Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Muppet*Vision 3D
Technically a show featuring both 3D effects and live action Muppets, this is one of my family’s favorite places to relax at DHS. The show itself is 15 minutes but there’s a 12-minute pre-show to keep the kiddos entertained.
Additionally, the standby queue is filled with Easter eggs from the Muppets, so take it all in while you’re waiting.
Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Royal Historians of Arendelle (and they’re a hoot!) share the story of their chilly kingdom and sing popular songs from the movie. It’s not only adorable but a great way to both beat the hot, outdoor temperatures and sing at the top of your lungs without judgement.
Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Star Wars Launch Bay & Launch Bay Theater
If you love the movies, this 10-minute film in Animation Courtyard about the creation of Star Wars will be right up your galaxy. Highlights include exclusive interviews from directors and cast. Afterwards, head into Star Wars Launch Bay and check out the art galleries filled with Star Wars objects. You can also queue up to meet a Star Wars Character as well.
Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Voyage of The Little Mermaid
A live action show featuring Ariel and her gang, this 17-minute show is perfect for Disney movie lovers. Popular sings from the movie are sung and everyone’s encouraged to sing along. It’s also indoors so you’ll get a respite from the hot, humid Florida climate.
Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is one of those Disney shows that has a special place in my heart. Melding pyrotechnics, water projection, and laser, famous Disney characters help Mickey Mouse escape from his nightmarish dreams. Fantasmic! is shown once each night and is well worth staying in the park until closing for it.

Rides for Everyone at Hollywood Studios – Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Not going to lie, I miss the Great Movie Ride. But if there had to be a replacement, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway does it beautifully. Set in the comic cartoon world, it’s an adorable spin on a train engineered by our pal, Goofy.
