I’ve booked plenty of hotel rooms through Hotwire over the years. And I’ve definitely scored some really good deals, too. How $50 a Night Can Get You Five Star Luxury Accommodations in Las Vegas

Here’s the story. If you’re planning travel to Las Vegas between December 8-28, 2017, you can grab a five-star, $50 a night hotel through Hotwire. Basically, it’s its way of giving back and putting its money where its mouth is.

“Hotwire is kicking off something kind of crazy–a Million Dollar Sale: five-star hotels in Las Vegas for just $50,” explains Hotwire President Neha Parikh. “I know it might sound too good to be true, so you may ask yourself, ‘what’s the catch?’ But it’s real. I believe Hotwire is a different kind of travel site, a different kind of company. I am putting my money where my mouth is in terms of showing the incredible value we bring to people who love to travel, and inviting everyone to experience our amazing Hot Rate deals—and luxury five-star travel—for themselves.”

Putting the Hotwire Five-star $50 Las Vegas Hotel Deal to the Test

You know me, I always like to put deals and products to the test. So, I hopped on the Hotwire website and took a test drive to see if I could find the deal easily. Remember, you can book a maximum of two nights and travel must occur between December 8-28, 2017. So, I chose the dates of December 11-13, 2017 as a test. December 11th is, after all, our wedding anniversary. And we did get married in Las Vegas. Coincidence? Probably.

So I plugged in the dates and WHAMMY! (Anchorman reference!), three five-star Las Vegas hotel deals were right at the top. Can’t get any easier than that.

Crazy Stats About Five-Star Travel

The average retail rate for a five-star hotel for December 2017 will run right around $432 a night. The average U.S. traveler has never stayed in a five-star hotel – only 24% have had the pleasure.*

So, Hotwire wants to give its customers an affordable way to see Sin City this holiday season by covering a million dollars worth of travel to the Las Vegas with Hot Rate Deals. The company is literally investing one million dollars to offset the cost of five-star Las Vegas Hot Rate Deals. The rate is only good for travel between December 8-28, 2017. And you can only book for two nights at a time.

It does expect for the deal to go fast – taking a quick getaway was the most-often-cited choice for relieving holiday stress according to the “Luxury & Holiday Travel Survey”—Hotwire expects the Million Dollar Sale to sell out in only a few days.
