Back to School with South Hills Village Mall: What’s Hot for 2017

South Hills Village Disney Store

I love mall shopping. And, while that could be an entirely different story, one of the reasons is that I get to spend time with my teen daughter. The Kid and I got down to back-to-school-shopping business on a recent visit to South Hills Village Mall in Pittsburgh, PA. We hunted for bargains and necessary items, but what we ended up doing the most was having fun! Here’s the scoop on what’s hot for back to school in 2017!

We had such a fun time partnering with the folks at South Hills Village Mall to make a sponsored back to school Youtube video highlighting the fun (and finds!) for kids of every age. Thanks to the gang at Markowitz Communications for following along, too! We visited the Disney Store, Hollister, Vera Bradley, Bare minerals, and LUSH.

If you haven’t had a chance to try one of LUSH’s bath bombs, you really should give it a go.

Kids can score a $10 gift card from South Hills Village Mall if they spend $100 or more on select days. Check out the chart for more info.

School District Days at South Hills Village Mall

Through the third week of August parents and kids can save when they visit South Hills Village Mall. On specific days, show at least $100 worth of receipts on your designated school district day (along with your child’s valid student ID) and you’ll get a $10 Simon Giftcard! Here’s the rundown:

  • Bethel Park – August 11
  • Keystone Oaks – August 14
  • South Park – August 15
  • Canon-McMillan – August 16
  • Baldwin-Whitehall – August 17
