I know, I skipped a month. I apologize. April was a whirlwind with so many fun places to visit and new products to try that I was swamped. So, now I’m back at home for a bit and ready to let you all in on what made me smile and what continues to put a smile on my face. Here’s the things we love for May 2017.
Shopping was definitely at the forefront last month and we not only found plenty of reasons for shops to take our money, but we were gifted products that we’re happy to share with you. From shopping hot spots to dainty accessories and good-for-you snacks, here’s what we;re loving right now.
No more rubbernecking at the pool to make sure our valuables stay safe! This handy, durable safe locks around your pool chair and has a programmable code so you can access our goodies anytime. Mine is a classic off-white, but there’s plenty of other colors including pink and navy blue.
TRRTLZ Disney Edition
TRRTLZ bracelets and super affordable and fun – and made for sharing! They’ve recently come out with a Disney line that includes classic Disney characters and movie inspiration. We’re loving the Mickey style!
Power Up Snacks
No kidding, bring snacks to Walt Disney World saved us hundreds of dollars on our week- long trip! I tried to incorporate healthy snacks and found some amazing ones from @powerupsnacks . They’re 💯 % all natural and come in some really tasty varieties. Oh, and we took some snack- sized baggies with us to make individual portions. Score! #gifted #disney #foodporn #wdw #tmom #tbin #tmomdisney #powerupsnacks
We tried five different styles during our visit to Walt Disney World in April and learned two things. One, the each snack style from Power Up Gourmet Nut is delicious. Two, making snack bags and taking them into the parks not only gave us energy for those 14 hour days, they kept our budget in check. Oh, and Mr. Locke, the guy that hates bananas? He loved the dried bananas in the trail mix.
Kate Spade Phone Charger
I have an endearing nickname from my family: the moth. It came from the fact that I’m immediately drawn to anything sparkly, shiny, and girly. So, why have a plain Jane phone charger, right? I bought a Kate Spade New York phone charger and I adore it. It’s bright green with blue polka dots, charges effortlessly, and lets me know when it’s fully charged with its four lights. Practical and cute? I’m on board!
Orlando Premium Outlet
Not an item, but something I had to share in regards to Disney finds. Just across I-4 from Disney Springs, the outlet has tons of amazing shopping deals including a Disney Outlet filled with amazingly-priced goodies. On our trip in April I scored Christmas ornaments for under $5, Star Wars sparkly shirts for under $10, and a Harvey seat belt bag for under $30. Score! Oh, and there’s a Kate Spade New York shop if you’re interested as well.
Ettika is a super cute line of jewelry that I’m loving right now. The brand offers everything from bold pieces to dainty touches, but its Cutting Edge necklace is a new fave of mine. It’s almost a bolero style but cuter and the clear stone touches are what I love best. I’ve received nothing but compliments on it.
Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale
I’ll admit, I wasn’t a giant Vera Bradley fan until I hit the Annual Outlet Sale on a visit to Fort Wayne, Indiana, last month. The sale brings VB fans out in droves and the deals, well, it’s really hard to walk away with empty hands. I adore my rolling bag and its print is perfect.
