ipsy March 2017 Subscription: What’d I Get?

ipsy March 2017 bag

When it comes to subscriptions, my first month with ipsy February 2017 was a fun one. So fun, in fact, I immediately began looking forward to this month’s haul. There’s a little bit of everything that I like to try when it comes to beauty products and an awesome beauty tool as well. Here’s what I got in my ipsy March 2017 subscription bag and first impressions.

ipsy March 2017 bag contents

I’m always a sucker for anything pink and shiny, so this month definitely didn’t disappoint in regard to the bag. It’s a super cute, fold over style made from dusty pink velvet. Super hot, the metal details are rose gold and sturdy.

ipsy March 2017 Elizabeth Mott Blending bursh

Elizabeth Mott Blending Brush

A couple of years ago Mr. Locke bought me the Sigma Beauty Brush set for Christmas and I loved them from the moment I opened them. Fast track to a couple of Walt Disney World visits ago: I left my fave Sigma blending brush in a hotel by accident. Sure, I can purchase another one, but I’ve been looking for additional brands as well. This Elizabeth Mott Blending Brush is the prettiest sky blue with a rose gold accent. First impression? the texture is just about what I’m lookng for so I can’t wait to try it with a smokey eye look.

ipsy March 2017 Freematic Eye Shadow Marisa

Freematic Eye Shadow in Marisa

This one’s a gorgeous color to add drama to a smokey eye or even use under the lower lid for contrast. In the pan it looks like a shimmery plum color, but a one-swipe test on my hand makes it look much more coppery. There are some larger glitter pieces in it so I’m on the fence about how it will blend.

ipsy March 2017 Marc anthony Deep Coditioner Jasmine

Marc Anthony Deep Conditioner Deep Repair Aloe Vera Jasmine

This is a decent size sample bottle, for one. It’s scent is not overwhelming as jasmine can be but instead smells clean and fresh.

ipsy March 2017 Mint Pear Collagen Serum

Mint Pear Collagen Serum

I’ve never tried anything from this line so I’m super excited to give it a go. The name totally threw me off as I thought it would smell like mint and pear. Not the case. There’s zero scent and when tested on the back of my hand it’s a gel-style formula that instantly absorbs.

ipsy March 2017 tarteist rose

tarteist Lip Paint in rosé

I love, love, love tarteist Lip Paint! It goes on creamy and non-patchy and it has the perfect hint of sheen. This one, rosé will be perfect for spring and summer and is a great travel size to throw in my make-up bag.

This month my ipsy bag was filled with everything from beauty b[products to beauty tools! Here's what I got in my ipsy march 2017 subscription bag.
