Creating the image for this post made me realize one thing immediately: it was all about sparkle and glitter for the month of December! Plating on packaging, sparkles, both subtle and highly prominent, adorns our favorite things. But there’s so much more to our faves than sparkle and glitter: we can truthfully put our stamp of approval on each and every one. Here’s the scoop on December’s edition of the things we love!

Robin McGraw Revelation

Robin McGraw Revelation Things We Love December 2016

We catch a bit of Dr. Phil almost everyday we’re not traveling and recently the show has been featuring Revelation. Created by Robin McGraw, Dr. Phil’s wife, and Dr. Jessica Wu, the skincare line delivers results – no kidding. What we love: OMG! Is this really ME?, up, up & away, and vita-boost. Oh, and the line makes us feel better about ourselves because there’s no animal testing involved.

Scentbird New York Pinrose Wild Child

ScentBird New York December Scent Things we lobe December 2016

The concept of Scentbird is very refreshing: a monthly perfume fix that delivers a 30-day supply of a high-end scent of our choosing straight to our door. December’s Scent, Wild child by Pinrose, has hints of Jasmine, Gardenia, Bergamot, and Vanilla Bean. Each vial may be removed and a new scent popped in – and popped right into our bag or purse.

L’oreal EverCurl

Loreal EverCurl Things We Love December 2016

I had the funniest thing happen with my hair when my daughter was born: it went from straight to curly – and frizzy came along with the new texture. As a gal that loves to try new products, when the EverCurl line showed up at my doorstep I gave a scoff out loud in that the line would probably end up in the massive drawer of unused, non-working products. And then I gave it a shot and ate my word. The line does exactly what it claims to – give my curls definition and keep the frizz at bay until I was it again. The Hydracharge Shampoo and Conditioner are super thick so a little goes a long way – and it’s sulfate free.

MAC Mariah Carey Lipstick in McIzzle

Mariah Carey MAC McIzzle

If there was absolutely zilch inside of this gorgeous lipstick I would have bought it anyway. Turns out the color inside is just as beautiful as the exterior packaging. McIzzle has a peachy, neutral vibe that can be worn alone or on top of a darker color to lighten it up. The Mariah Carey trademark butterfly only adds to its beauty.

the CRÉME shop Holiday Face Masks

La Creme Shop Sheet Mask Things We Love December 2016

I’m a sucker for a good face mask lately – 20 minutes to sit and relax while giving my facial skin some pampering. I found these special edition holiday sheet masks from the CRÉME shop at Marshall’s and was instantly curious. With treatment like Peppermint Cocoa and Egg Nog, how could I possibly resist? Turns out they work. My skin looks instantly firmer and brighter and the cooling effect takes away puffiness. I seriously can’t wait for the next round of special editions.

MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro Things We Love December 2016

When I opened my new MacBook Pro up on Christmas morning, I couldn’t wrap my head around it. The latest edition, complete with OLED touch bar (it changes based on what web page you’re reading or what app you’re running) is the perfect hybrid between a traditional laptop and an iPad. It’s super light (weighs in at two pounds) and offers a 12-inch retina display. I’ve only had it for a week but can truthfully write that it’s the ideal machine for me and my computer needs.

iPad Pro 9.7 Inch

Things We Love December 2016 iPad Pro

I had one of the first editions of the iPad for at least four years. Once a beast of a tablet, its 16GB of memory were fine at the time but I needed more – and a faster model. With a huge sale at best Buy I picked the iPad Pro up on boxing Day and haven’t had a thought of buyer’s remorse. Much lighter than my older model, the screen is the brightest and least reflective of all tablets in the world. As for the color? Rose Gold is right up my alley.

Kate Spade iPhone Folio & Cosmetic Cases

Kate Spade Polka Dot iPhone case Things We Love December 2016

Put pink glitter dots on anything and I’ll be first in line to own it. Let me buy it at 70% off at the Kate Spade Outlet Shop in Orlando, FL and I’m hopping up and down with giddiness!

Kate Spade Toiletry Makeup case Things We Love December 2016

The Manuela Haven Lane line features folio phone cases, cosmetic totes, change purses, and larger totes to to put all of your smaller items inside. You won’t find them online on the official Kate Spade website, but if you’re near an outlet store make a beeline if this style is up your alley.

The things we love for December 2016 are all about glitter, sparkle, and shine -as well as high tech and functionality. Need sparkly inspiration? Here's our fave products for December 2016!
