When some asks me to describe my family, I can do it in three words: League of Nations.
My daughter is Mexican- American, I, along with my brothers and sisters, was born in Canada, my mother was of Irish-English descent, and my father’s heritage lies mainly in Scotland. But, when it comes right down to it, where we were born, our heritage, our race…
None of it matters.
We’re a family. We laugh together. We cry together. We live, laugh, love together. We celebrate holidays together. We talk about when we were young and how all of those silly, intimate memories that make my family unique.
After all, isn’t every family unique?
All of the above became so much clearer to me this holiday season after I watched this TYLENOL® #HowWeFamily video.
Warning: may cause tears to well up in your eyes. Grab a tissue.
This precious, perfect video let’s us remember that families comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and attitudes. TYLENOL® put this compilation together to show it’s not who we love- but how we love. Its #HowWeFamily program beautifully showcases the true (and very real) story of 11 American families and the precious holiday moments in their lives.
