Three Stories of South Carolina State House

South Carolina State House

My family loves exploring new cities and last week we were in the south and doing our best to cover all that Columbia, South Carolina, had to offer. From amazing BBQ to historical buildings, the city is rich with culture and has a laid back attitude that I should take cues from.

I love this photo showing the three floors of beauty at the South Carolina State House. Columbia is actually the second city behind Charleston to be the state’s capitol and the state house, completed in 1903, has beautiful architectural style and even though it was renovated in the 1990’s, the building’s classic look and feel stayed true.

Free weekday tours are offered and I would highly recommend taking a guided tour as there’s so much to see and learn.

Spread the love
