Taking a trip to Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History is my happy place when I visit Pittsburgh. It’s like visiting an old friend’s home and has been one of my favorite haunts in the city since I moved into the tri-state area.
The Hall of Sculpture has some permanent pieces and is also home to temporary exhibits. The last time we visited I noticed a comical piece on the second floor overlooking the main room. It’s fun to see a sense of humor in art pieces and I couldn’t help but giggle.
Think this room looks familiar? If you’re a fan of 80’s movies, Flashdance was filmed at this very location.
